Pennies for Patients

Over the next three weeks, Saint Mark Lutheran School will be participating in The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients program. Pennies for Patients give keiki the opportunity to raise funds for blood cancer research and support patients. By collecting funds, keiki learn quickly that every bit can make a big difference. In Hawaii alone, students from schools across the Big Island, Kauai, Maui and Oahu have raised more than $700,000 over the last 7 years to support their efforts. This year the goal is add $170,000 to that amount. Each classroom has a Pennies for Patients box where monies can be deposited. Your help is greatly appreciated!
