Generous Donations

Mahalo to the Saint Mark families for their generous Christmas-time chapel offerings. $460 in cash, many wonderful new toys, and a wide assortment of canned goods were collected this past month. The money was used by the grade 8 students and their kindergarten chapel buddies who shopped at “The Party Store” in Windward Mall this past Tuesday to buy specific gifts for four homeless families who will be spending Christmas week in the Saint Mark gym as part of Family Promise. Slippers, lotions, toiletries, blankets, toys and other fun stuff were purchased by the students. In addition, the Family Promise families will receive gift cards and other necessities. The toys and canned goods will be distributed by the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree.
