Essay Contest Winners

The Veterans of Foreign Wars and its Ladies Auxiliary announced the winners of their Patriots Pen Youth Essay writing contest. This year’s winners included first place winner Alyssa Storm ($100 cash prize), second place winner Iolani Kahapea-Aquino ($75 cash prize), and third place winner John Hirokawa ($50 cash prize). The topic for this year’s essay was “Why I am an American Patriot.” Congratulations to all 3 students for a job well done!
