Dr. David Gaudi Appointed as ACS WASC Chairperson

Dr. David Gaudi, head of school at Saint Mark Lutheran, is the current ACS WASC (Accrediting Commission for Schools Western Association of Schools and Colleges) Chairperson representing the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools. Dr. David Gaudi has over 28 years of experience as a full-time educator and administrator. Prior to being appointed head of school at Saint Mark School in Kane‘ohe in 2007, he served for 14 years as a high school administrator and science/math instructor and was heavily involved in the school accreditation process. Dr. Gaudi serves as a member of three accreditation commissions: ACS WASC, NLSA, and HAIS and also serves as the HAIS Accreditation Committee Chairperson. The HAIS staff would like to extend a heartfelt mahalo to Dr. Gaudi for his continued service and dedication to both accreditation and the association.
