Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update & Distance Learning Program – April 24, 2020
Aloha Saint Mark Parents,
I continue to hope and pray that you are doing well. I am writing with a few updates.
Third Packet Pickup
Parents are invited to stop by the school next Friday, May 1 between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to pick up their child(ren)’s learning materials to be used for the first two weeks of May. A reminder will be sent next week with the pickup guidelines/requirements.
Mid-Quarter Reports for K-8
Mid-Quarter Reports will be distributed next Friday, May 1 with the educational packets.
Parent Survey & Email Changes
Mahalo to all who took the time to complete the parent survey. We received feedback from approximately 50% of our families which is a wonderful response rate. One school-wide change that we are making as a result of the survey is that we are easing the email restrictions on all the student email accounts so they are now able to send and receive emails from non-smls email accounts. We did this so that parents can now email their child(ren)’s Saint Mark email account(s). With these changes, we encourage parents to talk with their child(ren) about not opening suspicious looking emails.
COVID-19 Web Page
All of the COVID-19 updates and latest information is on Saint Mark’s COVID-19 web page on the school’s website.
Mahalo for your continued patience and perseverance and, as always, please do not hesitate to contact the school office should you have any questions.
Mahalo, Stay Safe, and Have a Wonderful Weekend,
David Gaudi
Head of School
